An Apple A Day!

What have I done this week for preparedness?
Still drying apples! I have about 2 bushels left. I have about 16 jars left and I think I am going to juice a bunch of them. They make yummy juice.
Here is a great crock pot apple butter recipe:
Crockpot Apple Butter
8 cups blended apples
4 cups sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
2 tsp cinnamon
Stir. Cook in crock pot about 8 hours. Bottle or freeze.
(opt. You can add 25-40 carmel squares to make it carmel apple butter.)

Apricot Butter
8 cups apricots
2 tsp lemon juice
4-6 cups sugar
Blend and let cook in crock pot 8-10 hours. Bottle or Freeze.
